CCS12 Theme: Asian Cruise Port Planning & Construction


  In April 2015, the Ministry of Transport announced the "National Coastal Cruise Port Planning Project" (referred to as the "Plan"), proposed that before 2030, China cruise port geographical layout will be: 2 to 3 cruise home ports as the lead, departure port as the main body, visit port to be the complement. It is in order to build up a full capacity, high service quality, safe and convenient cruise port system, to create a number of international well-known voyage lines especially for Chinese citizens, to make China to be one of the top three cruise markets in the world, and to increase the cruise passenger throughput among the highest in the world. At present, more than 10 coastal cities have built/ are building international cruise centers, including Shanghai, Tianjin, Xiamen, Sanya, Qingdao, Zhoushan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc. Among them, Shanghai, Tianjin, Sanya and Xiamen ports are expected to reach the international standard as home port.
  CCS Conference has invited many representatives from domestic and oversea cruise ports and cities to give speech, such as: Mr. Wang Younong, Chairman of Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal; Mr. Zeng Xianyun, Chairman of Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Center; Mr. Cai Peizhi, Chairman of Xiamen International Cruise Center Homeport Group Co.,Ltd; Mr. Yu Xiaohua, Deputy Director of Department from Qingdao Port (Group) Co.,Ltd; Mr. Zhang Tie, General Manager of Dalian Port Passenger Traffic General Company; Mr. Jeff Bent, Managing Director of Worldwide Cruise Terminals; Mr. Liu Shizong, Executive Vice President of Taiwan International Ports Corporation Ltd. Besides, Ms. Christina Siaw, Chief Executive Officer from Singapore Cruise Center, representatives from Fukouka Port, Japan; Busan Port, Korean; Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and Gangwon Maritime Tourism Center have made speeches.
  The CCS12
Cruise Port Forum” will be held under the theme of "Asian Cruise Port Planning & Construction ". It will bring Asian ports and cruise industries together, invite city authorities, port management companies and cruise companies to discuss the layout and conditions of port planning and construction, port management, cruise line design and other issues.
