Introduction

Initiated by China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA), China Cruise Shipping Conference & International Cruise Expo（CCS）is co-hosted by China Communications and Transportation Association, and provincial or municipal governments. It is jointly organized by CCYIA and local related departments.

Since October 2006, CCS has been held for 16 years in seven cities—— Shanghai, Xiamen, Beijing, Sanya, Shenzhen (Hong Kong), Tianjin and Guangzhou. It has received full supports from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and cruise companies, ports, tourist cities and professional institutions at home and abroad. The number of participants has grown from 70 person to 700 person, and the national delegates cover the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Finland, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and other countries. The International Cruise Expo was established from the 8th session and stopped by the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

CCS has directly promoted the internationalization of Chinese cruise industry chain.

In 2024, the National Immigration Administration and the General Administration of Customs preliminarily plan to hold a symposium on the conference. The number of guests is expected to return to 500. 

China Cruise Shipping Conference has always focused on the development hotspot and direction of the cruise industry, releasing the latest cruise policies and market strategies, and promoting the cooperation of the global cruise industry. It has become an important platform to gather ideas and strength of all parties, and an important stage to precent the new achievements and trends of the development of Chinese cruise economy. It is known as the most influential, international, professional, and authoritative annual event in the cruise industry in China and in Asia.
