On August 23, the State Council issued the 'Opinions on Further Stimulating the Potential of Culture and Tourism Consumption', once again mentioning the support for the development of cruise tourism. More policies on cruise industry are expected in the future.

Recently, the 14th China Cruise Shipping Conference & International Cruise Expo (CCS14) are being prepared tightly and orderly. In order to achieve the goal of local procurement, CCS14 organizing committee decides to hold On-board Food Safety Forum & Launching Ceremony of China Committee of Food Safety of Passenger Vehicles during the conference.

The Forum will be held on the afternoon of November 16th in the Media Room on the third floor of InterContinental Guangzhou Exhibition Center. At that time, senior officials from domestic customs and port inspection and quarantine bureaus will be invited to attend the discussion on how to effectively guarantee the on-board food safety. And the Launching Ceremony of China Committee of Food Safety of Passenger Vehicles will be held to promote the local food procurement, establish and improve the passenger vehicles food procurement supply chain, and ensure the consumers healthy travel.
