On the afternoon of March 20, the first preparatory work meeting of the 17th China Cruise Shipping Conference (CCS17) was successfully held at Binhai Cultural Business Center, Binhai New Area,Tianjin. The meeting was presided over by Liang Yiming, member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Binhai New Area District Committee, member of the Party Group of the District People's Government and vice governor of the District.
Ms. He Shurong, Director of Binhai New Area Culture and Tourism Bureau; Mr. Zhang Liqing, Director of Dongjiang Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Culture and Tourism Bureau; Mr. Yang Tianlin, General Manager of Tianjin Jingang Resources Development and Operation Co., LTD.; Mr. Dai Ming, General manager of Tianjin International Cruise Homeport Co., LTD.; Mr. Zheng Weihang, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association(CCYIA); Mr. Li Peisheng, Former Deputy Secretary General of Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Vice President of CCYIA, and Honorary President of Tianjin Cruise and Yacht Association, Mr. Zhang Jian, Deputy Secretary General of CCYIA , Ms. Gao Wenling, Secretary General of Tianjin Cruise and Yacht Association, and Mr. Feng Bo, Deputy Director of CCYIA Secretariat attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Zhang Jian, Deputy Secretary General of CCYIA, introduced the overall plan of the 17th China Cruise Shipping Conference, relevant units studied and discussed the arrangement of key activities, and deployed the next preparatory work, the meeting basically agreed that CCS17 will be held in October this year.
In the summary, Mr. Liang Yiming put forward opinions and suggestions on the activity program, and pointed out that last year, with a total of 31 cruise calls and 85,000 passengers, Tianjin Cruise Home Port ranked first in the country, continuing the momentum of the first cruise home port in the north. This conference will further build the cruise industry chain and supply chain, promote the high-quality and sustainable development of cruise in Tianjin and even the whole country, create an important strategic fulcrum for connecting domestic and international double cycles in northern China, and welcome the second golden development decade of China's cruise industry.
