The 17th China Cruise Shipping Conference (CCS17) will be held in Binhai New Area,Tianjin from October 17th to October 19th this year，which is hosted by China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA).
At present, China's cruise industry has gradually recovered and continued to improve. In the first half of this year, the relevant ministries and commissions of the State have successively issued policies and measures to support the development of cruise ships, such as visa-free entry for foreign tourists by cruise ships and regulations for international cruise ship supply in China, providing a strong guarantee for the high-quality development of China's cruise industry. According to the Ministry of Transport statistics, a total of 23 cruise ships plan to operate 206 voyages in the first half of this year, and the transport number of cruise passenger is expected to reach 490,000 people. The international cruise transport is accelerating the recovery.
Tianjin Binhai New Area has superior location and vast hinterland. As the first cruise home port in northern China and the second "China Cruise Tourism Development Experimental Zone" in China, Tianjin International Cruise Home Port has received nearly 230,000 cruise passengers and nearly 100 cruise ships since the beginning of this year. CCS17 aims to accelerate the gathering of cruise industry resources, bring new opportunities for building the whole industry chain of Tianjin Cruise, and bring new opportunities for the construction of a modern coastal city that is born by the sea and prosperous to the sea.
China Cruise Shipping Conference (CCS) has been held for 16 years since October, 2006 in seven cities—— Shanghai, Xiamen, Beijing, Sanya, Shenzhen (Hong Kong), Tianjin and Guangzhou. It has received full supports from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and cruise companies, ports, tourist cities and professional institutions at home and abroad.
