On the morning of June 15, China Merchants Shekou Holdings, which is subordinate to China Merchants Group, and CCYIA jointly held the second preparatory work meeting of CCS13. The meeting was co-hosted by Sun Chengming, chairman of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, and Zheng Weihang, executive vice president and secretary general of CCYIA, and attended by Gong Lei, deputy general manager of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, Li Wenya, deputy general manager of the general management department of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, Li Xiaoxue, deputy general manager of the general management department of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, Yi Kejiang, PR director of the general management department of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, Wang Zheng, deputy general manager of the cruise business division of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, Zhang Jian, assistant to secretary general of CCYIA, Feng Bo, deputy director of the secretariat of CCYIA, Ding Xiaolu, deputy director of the research department, etc.

    The two parties summarized for the stage work of CCS13 in the past quarter, reviewed the work focus for the next phase and deployed organization arrangement for the stages of preliminary publicity and conference of CCS13.

    Sun Chengming, chairman of China Merchants Shekou Holdings, recognized the relevant preparatory work for CCS13 and expressed that China Merchants Shekou Holdings would work with CCYIA to jointly invite high-level government and enterprise representatives and relevant companies subordinate to China Merchants Group to attend the conference; Zheng Weihang, executive vice president and secretary general of CCYIA highly praised the efficient operation of the team of China Merchants Shekou Holdings and suggested to invite international cruise ports in friendship with China Merchants Group to give full play to the platform role of CCS as an important channel for communicating with the government, ports, cruise companies and travel agencies.

    On the afternoon of June 15, Zheng Weihang, executive vice president and secretary general of CCYIA, made an official visit to Zhang Heyun, director of Culture, Sports and Tourism Administration of Shenzhen Municipality. Wu Bo, director of the tourism promotion office of Culture, Sports and Tourism Administration of Shenzhen Municipality, and the work team of CCYIA attended the meeting.

    Director Zhang Heyun expressed his huge support for the holding of CCS in Shenzhen this year and expressed that he would give full play to the forces of Culture, Sports and Tourism Administration of Shenzhen Municipality to organize media and cruise-related companies to dock with the organizing committee of CCS13 and attend the display, exchange and cooperation arranged by CCS.

    Mr. Zheng, president of CCYIA, introduced the basic information of CCYIA and the grand occasions of all previous sessions of CCS. He hoped that CCS13 would pragmatically promote the cruise economy development of Shenzhen.
